Center Island Contracting Inc. has been designing, renovating, and building homes throughout Nassau & Suffolk counties for 3 decades. We are a distinguished builder & remodeler recognized by LIBI, NARI, PRO-NY, and HOUZZ. We have a reputation for completing projects with high levels of customer satisfaction.
We have a full staff of building professionals, as well as in-house designers and customer service representatives. We also have our own, private, selection center and design studio to ensure your material selections and your building plan are in-sync and seamless.
Our colleagues in the real estate business keep us informed of upcoming buildable lots, as well as houses that are priced for a knock-down.
After completing many whole-house renovations over the years, we often hear the same question at the end of a project. “I wonder if we should’ve just knocked it down and started over”. That sentiment is often a very astute observation. Much of the design process of a renovation revolves around an existing condition that is no longer necessary or desirable. And the economies-of-scale for a new construction can represent more savings then what is being spared by ‘just’ renovating.

MAKE IT FINANCIALLY TRANSPARENTBefore signing any contracts, you will receive a custom home proposal. This will include a comprehensive, detailed list of all the items that are included in the contract price. You will also receive a thorough specification list of all the mechanical, structural, and finish details that come with our standard homes.
MAKE IT AFFORDABLEBy choosing from our pre-designed homes portfolio, and from our standard selection categories, you can get a new home for what you would likely spend on a renovation.
MAKE IT CUSTOMEven if you select one of our predesigned models, you will still customize the look and feel of the home through our designer showroom. The result will be far from a ‘cookie cutter’ or ‘builder’s grade’ new home.
