Step One: Find

Option 1: If you currently own or have identified a buildable lot, you can select from one of our ready-to-build plans or have us design something that works with that lot.

Option 2: Center Island Contracting, along with our real estate partners, has curated a list of available lots that are ready for a new home to be built.  We have even matched up those lots with the plans best suited for each property.

Step Two: Design

Either way, once we have identified a property and a design that suits you, we can set up a quick introductory meeting in our design center.  You won’t believe how much home you can get for your money until you sit with us for a free, no obligation price quote. There's nothing like seeing your passion come to life, plus the comfort of finally knowing exactly what your home will cost to build.

With your custom price quote and land identified, you can move forward with purchasing the property directly from the seller.  Most clients prefer financing the building and the land acquisition in one mortgage.  We will introduce you to one of our preferred lenders to guide you through that process.  While waiting for the closing, we’ll be working behind the scenes on blueprints and permit submittals. 

Step Three: Build

With land acquired, and permits in hand, we are ready to build.  It’s time to sit back and relax while the builders get to work on land excavation and construction. Your construction manager will keep you informed every step of the way, letting you know when each milestone has been met, as well as timeline updates. It’s one of the most exciting phases of the entire process!

Once your home is nearing completion, you will meet with your Construction Manager who will introduce you to your new home and discuss how to operate and care for many of the components. Because your new home is a source of pride to both you and Center Island Contracting, we want to be certain that your home meets our level of craftsmanship and standards of quality.
